You as a teenager may be constantly looking for ways to make money, and with good reason. Unknowingly you find it difficult to get a job and without experience and almost impossible what else if you are too young. Even when you get a job, you can only work part time while you are in school and the pay is never what you want.

It might be another option like starting your own business. Of course you can make money. You've probably heard of teenagers starting businesses and becoming very successful, maybe even owning companies. You don't have to create a million dollar company to be successful with your own business. For teenagers it's babysitting, lawn mowing, and other similar things, this is the most obvious business idea. They're not often thought of as a business, but that's what they really are.

Promote your business to everyone's friends to let everyone know that you are now available to babysit or mow the lawn and use set fees, flyers, and other ideas to make yourself look professional. Other ideas for business are selling candy, snacks, and/or drinks in busy neighborhoods and parks. When people are outside, they get hot, thirsty, and hungry, and you can be there to provide what they need.

You can also try tutoring other students in subjects you do well in. You may even decide to tutor for classes you've already completed. You may want to talk to your guidance counselor to find out if there is any special way of doing it or for promotion ideas.

For a lot of jobs, especially the ones that pay well, you're either too young, don't have enough or any experience, or you hate the job. So then how do you make money if you can't get a job? Don't worry, there are unique ways that teenagers, even those too young for working papers, can work and make money.

Here are some ideas for teens to make money:

Follow the tried and true, Babysitting, mowing lawns, and washing cars may seem too boring, but you can make some good money from them. Just because they are ordinary jobs doesn't mean the demand isn't there. As long as the grass grows and people are too busy to take care of it, you'll have work. Tell everyone you know you're starting to baby-sit or your shoveling driveways in the winter, and before you know it, you'll have so many clients, you can't keep up! Learn how to market your small business and retain existing clients. It's easier to keep a client then to find a new one. Be flexible and work with their schedules.

Sell what you know, Do you love to bake? Do you live at the local park? Why not try selling things that people want. If you like to bake, you can sell cookies, brownies, pretzels or other baked goods. If you are in a high traffic zone at a park, sell snacks and drinks. People quickly get hungry and thirsty when they are having fun and exercising. If you have a lot of books that you've read and don't need anymore, sell them on eBay or Amazon.com.

Get a job, Though getting a job, especially when you are young, can be hard or grueling, it is the most surefire technique to make money. You don't have to worry about marketing to new clients or finding a product or service that people want. If you are still young, try asking family or friends that have small businesses if you can help them out. When you're older, check out supermarkets, retail, amusement parks, or any place you'd like to work. These might not be the most fun or glamourous jobs, but chances are the employers are used to hiring teenagers. They know they can secure work for less pay, usually minimum wage. Do your best and you could move up as a manager.

Finding a great way to make money, even if you're still in school, isn't too difficult with a little ingenuity. Be willing to take risks and learn from your mistakes. If a business idea does't work out, cut your losses and move on.
